Aldi extends Teenage Cancer Trust fundraising target to £20m by 2031
The money will help fund specialist care, support services and dedicated facilities for teenagers and young adults with cancer across the UK

Aldi has pledged to raise £20m for Teenage Cancer Trust by 2031, extending its original target of £15m by 2027.
The UK’s fourth-largest supermarket has so far raised £12m since the partnership began, supporting the charity’s work with young people undergoing cancer treatment.
Fundraising efforts have taken place across Aldi’s 1,050 stores, national head office and regional distribution centres, with customer donations boosting the total raised.
The money will help fund specialist care, support services and dedicated facilities for teenagers and young adults with cancer across the UK.
To mark the £12m milestone, Aldi is making an additional donation of £12,000 to the charity.
Liz Fox, national sustainability director at Aldi UK, said: “We’re incredibly proud of our partnership with Teenage Cancer Trust and this milestone reflects the dedication of our colleagues and the amazing generosity of our customers.
“Teenage Cancer Trust provides vital, life-changing support for young people affected by cancer, and we’re looking forward to raising the bar even further with our new target of £20m by 2031.”
Kate Collins, chief executive of Teenage Cancer Trust, added: “We are thrilled to reach the £12m milestone and grateful that Aldi are continuing to fundraise for young people facing cancer.
“The funds raised have enabled our nurses and youth teams to improve the lives of thousands of young people with cancer and support families during their toughest times, and our continued partnership will enhance this impact even further.”
Throughout July, Aldi’s Cuthbert cake will feature a text code on its packaging, offering customers the option to donate to Teenage Cancer Trust.
